TCM [ Acupuncture [ Acupressure
TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is a complex and holistic diagnostic system used to successfully treat illness and maintain wellness. TCM is based on the Theory of Five Elements and maintaining the holistic balance of qi (chi), yin and yang in body, mind and spirit. TCM focuses on treating the entire individual to promote health. When diagnosing physical symptoms, the emotional and spiritual health are included. The person is considered out of balance when any illness is present.
Some common treatments used in TCM include: acupressure and acupuncture, moxibustion (burning a compressed herb near the skin to conduct heat into meridians), herbal medicine, nutrition, cupping (application of warmed suction cups to muscular regions of the body), Chinese massage (called Tui na). exercise (including Tai Chi and Qi Gong which combine movement with meditation).
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into acupuncture points (hundred of energy points on the human body). Various acupressure techniques can often be used instead of acupuncture.

LBG® - Light Beam Generator Lymphatic Decongestion Therapy
Cells and biochemical molecules that are carried through our lymph system have an electromagnetic charge that binds them together or keeps them apart. In an overburdened lymph system, these cells and biochemical molecules can bond electrically with water and clump together, potentially “clogging” the lymph ducts and resulting in chronic inflammation.
The Light Beam Generator (LBG) helps to rebalance the charge of the cells' electromagnetic fields. Using cold-gas light photons and extremely low energy electromagnetic harmonic frequency patterns, the LBG gently aids in separating these cells and molecules from each other. This allows proper movement of the lymph system and the drainage of accumulated fluids. This enables the body to rapidly rid itself of inflammation, swelling and other lymph blockages.
A clogged lymph system can lead to serious disease conditions. A properly draining lymph system efficiently transports nutrition and immune cells throughout the body while eliminating wastes and toxins.

Energy Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the study of movement mechanics of the human body. Energy kinesiology is the study of energy movement and energy systems of the human body. Muscle testing is used to assess energy imbalances of the body-mind and to help identify sensitivities to foods and other factors that affect the body-mind. Energy kinesiology is a general term that refers to the various different energy therapies and modalities.

PKP [ Professional Kinesiology Practice
Professional Kinesiology Practice utilizes muscle feedback as monitors of stress and imbalance in the body. This body awareness can then be used to help reduce stress and pain, improve performance at any level, and promote health and well being. Based on the principles of Chinese Five Element energy meridian balancing, the diagnosis is not medical but energetic.
Dr. Bruce Dewe and Joan Dewe, the founders of the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP), have both been kinesiologists for over 20 years. They describe kinesiology this way: “... Kinesiology enables people to detect and correct various imbalances that may relate to stress, nutrition, learning problems, minor injuries and other issues they meet in their daily life... The fundamental assumption is that the body knows what it needs to heal and that by using kinesiology we can access the wisdom of the body. We all know that we are born with the ability to heal. A cut or even a broken bone heals on its own... The work of Professional Kinesiology Practice is to clear blocks to healing at all levels.”

Herbal Medicines [ Chinese and Western
An herb is a plant or plant part used for its scent, flavor or therapeutic properties. Many plants possess specific chemical substances that have affects on the body. The use of herbs for medicinal or therapeutic value is called Botanical Medicine or Herbalism. Herbs are available as tablets, capsules, powders, teas, extracts and fresh or dried plants.
Herbal medicine is older than any other type of healthcare. Even today, about 25% of all prescription drugs in the US have at least one active ingredient derived from plants. Most herbalists feel that one of the advantages of using herbs is that the therapeutic substances in herbs are in an organic, natural form that is more easily assimilated and less harsh to the body. An estimated 80% of earth’s population use herbal medicine as part of their healthcare according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
